The CRY3711 ear simulator simulates the way an earplug conduit is inserted into the ear canal or auricle to measure headphone performance. It has a 1/2 inch prepolarized pressure field measurement microphone inside and can be used for acoustic testing of high-quality in-ear headphones.
The input impedance of CRY3711 is very close to the input impedance of an ordinary human ear, enabling effective measurement up to 10 kHz.
